The National Weather Service is warning of flash flooding as heavy rain hits Texas County on Saturday night.
It is expecting widespread rain of 2-3 inches — with some areas receiving 5-7 inches, it said. “This will lead to flash flooding, including potential for considerable flash flooding where higher amounts occur,” it said Saturday.
Additional thunderstorms are expected beginning Saturday evening.
