The National Weather Service says heat will build into the area through the weekend with low chances (10-30%) for scattered thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday morning.
It recommends staying cool and hydrated. Hot and humid conditions continue into next week with daily scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorm chances, it says.
