A Cabool woman was injured early Thursday in an accident on U.S. 63 about five miles north of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Jason Sentman said a southbound 2021 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Crystal K. Carson, 42, struck a deer in the roadway at about 5:50 a.m.
Carson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries. Sentman said the vehicle had extensive damage.
