Fire consumed a FedEx truck Friday, July 5, near Highway AW and Goldenrod Drive in northwest Texas county.
The Roby Fire Department responded to the afternoon incident, and the driver was able to escape the truck without injury.

The FedEx driver believed the fire started in the engine compartment, although Roby Fire Chief Jeff Reed said the truck was too far gone to identify the cause. The truck was a total loss. Residents expecting packages from FedEx are urged to contact sellers to file claims for expected packages lost in the fire.
