Sheila Carroll was recognized recently for 10 years of service with CASA of South Central Missouri.

On July 17, CASA of South Central Missouri commemorated a milestone anniversary with Carroll, an advocate who has dedicated the past decade to championing the voices of children in the foster care system.

“Sheila has been a light in the darkness,” said Kayy Duncan, advocate supervisor. “We are truly blessed to have her as an advocate, standing strong for the voiceless and vulnerable.”

Carroll’s commitment has transformed lives and served as a beacon of hope for those navigating difficult circumstances.

“Sheila’s dedication and compassion have profoundly impacted our organization and the lives of countless children,” said Amber Stienbarger, executive director. “Her unwavering support and tireless efforts remind us daily of the difference one person can make. We are deeply grateful for her 10 years of selfless service.”

Throughout her tenure, Carroll has advocated for countless children and taken the role of a senior advocate, guiding and mentoring new members of the organization.

“Her willingness to jump in wherever needed and her steadfast support has made her a cornerstone of CASA’s mission,” said Stienbarger.

“She stands as a testament to the power of compassion and dedication in making a profound difference in the lives of children.”Those interested in becoming a CASA volunteer can contact Duncan at 417-254-0523 or email kayy.duncan@casascmo.org.
