A log truck overturned Tuesday afternoon on Highway 32 at Success, authorities said.

The Roby Fire Department spent several hours removing the truck and logs about one-half mile from Highways 17 and 32. Electrical service was disrupted after a pole was struck in the wreck, which occurred at about 1:15 p.m.

One lane of the highway was later closed as a wrecker and power company worked. The highway opened just before 5 p.m.

Authorities said the driver of the truck left the scene on foot, but later returned.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Texas County Sheriff’s Department also was on the scene.
