A man from Licking is charged following a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation into a May accident.
Joshua D. Baldwin, born in 1979, is charged with DWI – aggravated, a class D felony; and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway following a May 10 crash on Highway BB near Decker Road, the patrol said.
A trooper arrived to find a white Ford F-250 overturned on its side off the roadway. Baldwin told the trooper he had swerved to miss a deer.
A breathalyzer test conducted at the Texas Cunty Jail showed a blood-alcohol level that was more than three times the legal limit, .251 percent, according to a report.
Charges were filed by the county prosecutor on July 17. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.
