The Houston city council voted unanimously to enter into a contract with McLiney and Company of Mission, Kansas, for assistance in financing a quadplex on Thomasville Road.
In a special session Tuesday, Aug. 13, members heard from Edward McLiney, senior managing director, who spoke on providing advice and financial resources for the financing of the quadplex project. McLiney presented two options – a lease purchase or general obligation bond.
McLiney’s firm has a long relationship with the city over the years, providing expertise on several capital projects.
Council members then adjourned into a closed session concerning negotiations, hiring and contracts.
