The City of Houston made electrical repairs Wednesday afternoon into the evening on Sommerfield Drive.
A section of the roadway — from U.S. 63 to North Oak Crest Drive — was closed after an electrical pole and power lines were downed.
The work, performed in intense heat, was completed Wednesday night.
