​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Aug. 19 and Aug. 25, the Houston Police Department answered 222 calls for service and initiated 44 traffic stops resulting in 12 citations and 42 warnings.
- On Aug. 19, officers responded to the 100 block of Airport Road for a domestic assault. A female was injured in the assault and transported to the hospital by ambulance for her injuries. The investigation is ongoing and a report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On Aug. 19, officers were dispatched to U.S. 63, near Holder Drive for a motor vehicle crash. A 2004 Mercury operated by Judith Neugebauer, 73, of Salem, struck the rear of a 2013 Dodge operated by Caleb Tarrants, 27, of Houston. No injuries were reported. Neugebauer was issued a citation for following too closely.
- On Aug. 20, officers were dispatched to Texas County Memorial Hospital for an assault that took place at a residence within the city limits. A female was injured during the assault and sought treatment at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing and a report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On Aug. 21, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a series of thefts. Officers began investigating the matter and identified a suspect. Harley C. Graves, 30, of Houston, was later cited four times for stealing under $750 (shoplifting).
- On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Aug. 22, officers arrested Amy E. Ivy, 33, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charges of stealing (two counts) and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device (two counts). Ivy was unable to post the $2,000 cash-only bond and was incarcerated in the Texas County Jail.
- On Aug. 25, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Following the investigation. officers cited Michael D. Stallsworth, 45, of Mountain View, for stealing under $750 (shoplifting). A male juvenile was also referred to juvenile authorities.
