A Texas County grand jury has indicted one person Aug. 15 on a third-degree felony domestic assault charge following a Texas County Sheriff’s Department investigation.
Timothy Bolduc, born in 1986 with no address listed, was indicted by the panel. A cash bond of $2,000 was set. He is to appear for a trial setting on Sept. 3 before Circuit Judge William Hickle.
An investigating deputy said he was called May 18 following an incident that was reported to be verbal in nature and later escalated. The victim said Bolduc struck her with an open palm twice across the face, according to a report. Bolduc told the deputy that nothing physical occurred. A witness from incidents alleged to have occurred the previous evening also provided information to the officer, according to a report.
The charge is a class E felony.
