The Houston R-1 School District board of education made several personnel decisions during a closed session meeting Tuesday, Aug. 13.
The board unanimously approved the resignations of Marion Peterson, as paraprofessional; Abbie Wheeler, as paraprofessional; and Tyrese Vanderkuur, as color guard/percussion instructor.
The board unanimously approved the employment of Erin Johnston, as high school National Honor Society sponsor for the 2024-2025 school year; and Debbie Dorman, as food service worker for the 2024-2025 school year.
