Three Houston residents were injured Tuesday morning in a crash south of Rolla on U.S. 63.
Cpl. J.E. Bellers said a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Carre R. Karnes, 20, of Edgar Springs, was turning onto southbound U.S. 63 and failed to yield to a northbound 2000 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Harry R. Colm, 76, of Houston.
Colm, Scott L. Folsom, 36; and Jody Folsom, 27, all had minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla.
Two passengers in the Karnes car — Brandon L. Quick, 29, of Edgar Springs; and a 15-year-old girl of Edgar Springs — had minor and moderate injuries, respectively. Both also went to Phelps Health.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt and both vehicles had extensive damage.
