The weather was active overnight, the National Weather Service said.
There was considerable flash flooding in some parts of south-central Missouri. At the Wright-Texas counties line, trees were blown down.
A flash flood warning is in effect through Friday morning.
There is a possibility of severe thunderstorms Friday and Saturday with hail, wind and flooding possible, it said.
