Missouri Department of Revenue license offices statewide will be unable to process Drivers License, Permit, CDL and Non-Drivers ID transactions Nov. 6-11 due to an ID/Drivers License system upgrade.

Officials said if your ID/drivers license expires in that timeframe you will need to visit a license office before that time. You can renew your Drivers License/ID up to six months early.

The Houston office on North U.S. 63 will be closed Nov. 7-11. It will reopen Nov. 12 at normal business hours.

“The system is going to be completely different starting Nov. 12 so please be patient as all of us across the state learn to use the new program,” said Stetson Stevens, the fee agent in Houston. The only office in the county is at Houston.
