A Bucyrus woman received moderate injuries Monday morning on a rain-slick North U.S. 63, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
MSgt. Dale Pounds said a northbound 2022 Ford Edge driven by Jeramy D. Lee, 49, hydroplaned, causing it to travel off the left side of the highway and overturn.
Lee, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The car was totaled.
Assisting at the scene — which was about five miles north of Houston — were the Texas County Sheriff’s Department and Houston Rural Fire Department.
