A Cabool man was killed late Sunday in a crash northeast of his hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Zayne Tate said a northbound 2008 Pontiac Torrent driven by Gedeon S. Mori, 22, ran off Highway AC about six miles northeast of Cabool and overturned, ejecting the driver.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:51 a.m. by Sheriff Scott Lindsey, acting as deputy coroner. Next of kin has been notified.
The patrol said this is the 16th fatality this year in Troop G, compared to 24 for the same period a year ago.
Assisting at the scene were Tpr. Chad Johnson and the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
