​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between Sept. 2 and Sept. 8, the Houston Police Department answered 219 calls for service and initiated 45 traffic stops resulting in 19 citations and 38 warnings.

  • On Sept. 2, officers responded to U.S. 63 near Walmart for a motor vehicle crash. A 2024 Ford Maverick operated by John E. Turpin, 86, of Summersville, turned from the entrance to Walmart and collided with a 2022 GMC operated by a male juvenile. No injuries were reported and Turpin was cited for failing to yield right of way.
  • On Sept. 3, officers arrested Carol M. Dicarro, 60, of Mountain View, on an active Texas County warrant for third-degree assault and resisting arrest. Dicarro was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was incarcerated after being unable to post the $1,500 cash-only bond.
  • On Sept. 3, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a reported theft. After investigating the incident, officers cited Amy D. Shull-Welch, 52, of Raymondville, for stealing under $750.
  • On Sept. 3, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a subject trespassing. Officers cited Dustin B. Huckabee, 40, of Raymondville, for trespassing.
  • On Sept. 4, officers responded to U.S. 63 near Highway 17 for a motor vehicle crash. A 2014 Chevrolet operated by Phyllis K. Honeycutt, 86, of Houston, turned from the center turn lane and collided with a 2006 Dodge operated by Glen Malmskog, 66, of Houston. One occupant reported minor injuries. Honeycutt was cited for failure to yield right of way.
  • On Sept. 4, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a forgery. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
  • On Sept. 5, officers responded to the 200 block of Mill Street for a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned home safely.
  • On Sept. 6, officers arrested Brandon Breeden, 43, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge of failure to appear-driving while revoked/suspended. Breeden was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $500 cash-only bond.
  • On Sept. 6, officers arrested Robert Tooley, 46, of Cabool, on an active probation and parole warrant per charge possession of a controlled substance. Tooley was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated without bond.
  • On Sept. 6, officers received a report of an adult furnishing pornographic materials to a juvenile. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
  • On Sept. 7, officers cited Jamie E. Baker, 40, of Houston, for failure to abate nuisance for overgrown vegetation.
  • On Sept. 7, officers arrested Michael D. Hansson, 39, of Houston, on two active Illinois warrants for parole violations and domestic assault. Hansson was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated without bond.
  • On Sept. 7, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a domestic assault. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
  • On Sept. 7, officers received a report of pornographic material being sent to a minor. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
  • On Sept. 8, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a domestic disturbance. The matter was resolved and no charges have been sought.
  • On Sept. 8, officers cited Delores M. Hernandez, 39, of La Junta, Colorado, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
  • On Sept. 8, officers responded to the 6800 block of S. U.S. 63 for a private property motor vehicle crash. There were no injuries reported.
