One person was treated for smoke inhalation at a trailer house fire Tuesday evening, the Licking Fire Department said.
Firefighters were called at about 7 p.m. to the blaze on Elm Street.
In addition to the Licking Fire Department, the Raymondville Fire Department responded for mutual aid.
When it arrived, the Licking Fire Department reported smoke was showing for the mobile home. “An aggressive interior attack was initiated and was able to contain the fire to a bedroom,” the Licking Fire Department reported.
EMS from Texas County Memorial Hospital treated one occupant of the home for smoke inhalation.
Also on the scene were the Licking Police Department, Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association and the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
