A two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Texas County left one injured, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Lance E. Asher, 61, of Plato, was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 northbound at the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway AW when he made a left turn into the path of a 1997 Harley Davidson Fatboy driven by Vincent D. Carlton, 62, of Plato, causing the motorcycle to slide on its left side and eject the driver, patrol said.
Carlton was transported by Air Evac to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. The motorcycle was totaled.
Both drivers were wearing a safety device.
