The STARS Foundation announced a run of “Greatest Showman” over two weeks next month at the Melba Performing Arts Center on Houston’s Grand Avenue.
Performances are set for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and Oct. 18; and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 and 19.
“We have created an entertaining and gorgeous display of magicians, dancers, acrobats, vocalists, instrumentalists and entertainers in one of the most epic productions we have created with one of the most incredible scores that have ever been written,” the organization said in a press release.

The organization also will hold a variety show at 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Melba. Admission is $8.
A Christmas orchestra performance will occur 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Melba. It is free.
