Scattered to widespread storms will move through southern Missouri this morning and early afternoon, the National Weather Service says.

Then, more scattered thunderstorms will progress eastward through tonight.

Most locations will receive an additional 0.25 to 1.5 inches of rain, with localized areas in the eastern Ozarks, including Texas County, seeing amounts up to 2 to 4 inches.

Check out the forecasted temperature difference from this week to last. Some areas will be 20-30 degrees cooler than they were a week prior by week’s end.
