Two local residents were winners in a giveaway promotion, Bomgaars in Houston announced.
The business, located on South Sam Houston Blvd., said Becky Coyne and Josephine Williamson were winners.
Bomgaars announced more than $77,000 in prizes were awarded in August as part of “DeWalt 100 Year Giveaway.”
There were 362 winners across the company’s footprint awarded either a brushless cordless drill/driver and impact driver combo kit ($229.99 value) or a 168-piece mechanic’s tool set ($199.99 value).
Bomgaars said it is proud to offer DeWalt products — celebrating 100 years — to its customers.
This year, Bomgaars is celebrating its 80th anniversary. It started in 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa, where the first store opened. Today, it has more than 180 stores in 15 states with more than 6,000 employees. It is a family-owned business.
