Two persons were seriously injured Saturday night in a crash that involved a Mountain Grove man, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Sgt. Logan Elliott said a westbound 2020 Honda Fit operated by David J. Marrocco, 31, of Mountain Grove, crossed the center of Highway 76 and struck a 2016 Ford F-350 driven by Diane H. Zuck, 77, of Laurys State, Penn. After impact, the truck traveled off the left side of the road and into a tree.

Zuck was flown by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. A passenger, Jean I. Hunsicker, 75, of Barto, Penn., was flown to Cox South in Springfield.

Marrocco was not injured. All were wearing seat belts except Hunsicker, Elliott said. Both vehicles were totaled.
