There is an elevated fire risk for Tuesday, and persons are advised not to burn outside.

Southerly winds are expected to gust up to 30 to 45 miles per hour today.

The gusty winds will lead to elevated fire weather conditions.

Outdoor burning is not recommended except other than for experienced land management personnel, the National Weather Service said.

Area fire departments also have asked residents not to burn.
