In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops, arrests and responses to local incidents.

The department reported 19 traffic stops resulting in 12 summons and nine warnings issued. Four summons for non-traffic offenses were issued. Three summons were issued in reference to animal violations, the other was for first-degree trespassing.

At 6:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, officers responded to a report of a tractor trailer operated by Pedro Carrizalez, of Aurora, Colorado, striking a concrete fuel island at the Garden Inn Truck Plaza. Officers reported that the incident caused a fuel tank on a refrigerated trailer to puncture. The Cabool Fire Department responded to contain a small amount of diesel fuel. A private company was contacted to clean up the spill.

In total, police handled one accident, eight animal complaints, one domestic violence call, two juvenile matters, one mental instability incident, two peace disturbances, one stealing/theft incident, two suspicious activity incidents, one unsecured building incident, made three warrant arrests, assisted other agencies six times, gave one private escort and assisted the public 11 times.

The fire department was dispatched 14 times.
