I want to give a shout out to Lee Kern who manages Houston Animal Heroes. I’ve called on Lee for help on several occasions, ranging from a home where the owner has passed away, leaving dozens of dogs and other animals to one loyal dog or cat that is grieving their owner and has no place to go. With Lee’s tremendous help, we’ve been able to foster these pets and place them in loving homes, with permission of the decedent’s family of course. I can count on Lee to show up with food for the animals and even get sick animals to the vet. You can find Lee on Facebook at Houston Animal Heroes or contact him at 417-217-0349.
