Leevoy C. Bland, age 80, was born Dec. 28, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri to Herbert and Nona Bland. He passed away Sept. 30, 2024, in Houston, Missouri.

Leevoy loved being outdoors and working on his Kubota tractor. He loved to go fishing, boating and camping whenever he could. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church as well as the church treasurer for a number of years. Leevoy married Linda Townley June 20, 1996, and they shared many wonderful years together.

Leevoy is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Bland and Nona Beale; two brothers; and one daughter, Melinda Rowles.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bland; children, Randy Bland, Shawn Bland, Gina Dodson and Michael Campbell; five grandchildren, Bryce Rowles, Tyler Campbell, Lacey Ashford, Sean Wildhaber and Mason Dodson; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Cody Wayne and Cooper; and numerous cousins, other family and many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A memorial visitation for Leevoy was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at Evans Funeral Home in Houston. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Gayer officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.evansfh.com.
