It has really become a sick and morbid time in the history of our country when we have allowed the barbaric action of abortion to be the pivotal point in our determining factor of which way to vote.
I do not care what side of the fence you may be on, but abortion is the taking of an innocent life of a human being. Whatever happened to the moral values we once had?
I have a hard time accepting the actions of all you so called Christians out there that will vote for those that promote abortion and then just shrug it off and go to church Sunday with no conscience of the fact. Just remember, when you support any political person that promoted abortion, then you are just as guilty as he or she is.
If we had more virtue and morals within ourselves, then the matter of abortion wouldn’t need to surface. If a burglar were to break into your home and one of your children got killed, the burglar then would be guilty of murder, so what is the difference of a licensed physician taking the life of a baby as he or she comes out of the womb, completely innocent? No difference.
Why don’t the so called politicians promote that the mothers keep the baby alive and donate them to those thousands of couples out there that are waiting to adopt a child? But I can answer that question, that is not a politicians’ way of thinking, and it would not turn the vote in their favor.
Let us keep this in mind, for many of us have read and heard that we are made in God’s image, so are we as a people going to put ourselves above God and destroy His creation? We all will be accountable for our deeds on the other side of the veil. Wouldn’t it be great if we got back to Godliness and deprived the devil of his way?
