A Lenox teenager was hurt Thursday in a single-vehicle accident just east of Lenox, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The 17-year-old girl was operating an eastbound 2000 Ford Ranger that ran off the right side of Highway H north of the Texas County line and struck a ditch, said Cpl. G.R. Moravec.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Salem Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle had minor damage.
