Texas County’s September unemployment rate was the lowest it has been in 2024, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
In September, the rate was 3.9%. That is down 0.9% from August.
According to the department, the county’s total labor force was 9,160 and employed was 8,802. (Total unemployed – 358)
Other counties and their unemployment rates: Dent (3.3), Douglas (3.9), Howell (3.9), Laclede (4.1), Phelps (2.9), Pulaski (3.7), Shannon (3.4) and Wright (4.7).
