Elevated to significant fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon as humidity levels dip into the 20s and 30s with some wind gusts of 25 to 30 miles per hour possible, the National Weather Service said.

Temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 20s to mid-30s across the area which will bring widespread frost to the area along with a freeze potential for all but along the Missouri-Arkansas border.
