William Wesley Saylor, 78 of El Dorado, Arkansas, died Oct. 1, 2024 at his residence.

Born Oct. 5, 1945 in Licking, Missouri, he was the son of George Washington Saylor and Oma Stockdil Saylor. In 1967, he married Eugenia Gayle Johnston until her passing in January 2014. He was a truck driver for Great Lakes, and was of the Assembly of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gayle; and sisters, Wilma Wade and Joana Evans. His survivors are his daughter, Robin Davis (Greg) of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Rhett Davis (Hannah) of El Dorado and Oriana Sandmann (Ryan) of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7 in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors in El Dorado with a memorial service at 11 a.m.
