A Texas County Sheriff’s Department investigation has resulted in a Cabool man being charged with multiple felony offenses.
Keith J. Thomison, 48, of 13104 Sunrise Lane in Cabool, is charged with felonies of stalking – first degree and resisting arrest for a felony, along with misdemeanor violation of a protection order for an adult.
On Nov. 5, a deputy was dispatched after a woman reported that Thomison was on her property, and she had a protection order against him. Dispatch advised that he had kicked the door in at her house and was still there.
The deputy contacted the Cabool Police Department to assist. When the deputy arrived, Cabool police advised that Thomison had left before they got there.
The deputy searched the area and observed Thomison running through a field near the residence. The officer approached him and told him to stop, but he continued to run.
On Nov. 6, the deputy located Thomison and took him into custody. He was served an order of protection against the woman on Oct. 30.
The deputy viewed video that depicted Thomison on the phone at the residence. He reportedly is clearly upset in the video and head-butts the door.
