In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops, accidents and responses to local incidents.
The department reported 15 traffic stops resulting in 14 summons and eight warnings issued.
Shara Reed, of Cabool, was backing a 2014 Chevrolet in the parking lot of Dollar General when she struck a parked 2008 Subaru Thursday (Nov. 21) morning, officers said. No injuries were reported.
Chadwick Deal, of Mountain Grove, was driving a 2017 Buick exiting eastbound U.S. 60 turning north onto Highway 181 Friday morning when he struck a 2023 GMC driven by Nick Matherly, of Cabool, who was traveling north on Highway 181, officers said. No injuries were reported.
Officers were called to a Parker Avenue residence for a reported burglary on Wednesday, Nov. 20. A door to the residence was forced open and numerous items were taken including several firearms, officers said. The investigation is ongoing.
In total, police handled two accidents, two alarms, seven animal complaints, one burglary, one civil matter, two juvenile matters, two stealing/theft incidents, two suspicious activity incidents, assisted other agencies seven times and assisted the public four times.
The fire department was dispatched nine times.
