Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings Oct. 23 and 24.
Members:
- Held a meeting with the treasurer, clerk and circuit clerk concerning jury payment cards.
- Met with Marie Lasater, coroner, on her request for increased pay pursuant to RSMo 58.095. Commissioners reviewed and signed Lasater’s yearly inventory report.
- Reviewed emergency preparedness guidelines for the justice department.
- Reviewed and acknowledged the hiring of Justin Eutsler, as a full-time jailer, effective Oct. 23.
- Discussed banking needs in the clerk’s office.
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- BPJ Insurance concerning a new agent for the Texas County area.
