Following voting by South Central Association football coaches, 11 Houston High School players received All-Conference recognition for the 2024 season.
Tigers named to the All-SCA First Team on offense include senior Jordan Arthur (wide receiver – unanimous), senior Maleki Morgan (tight end) and junior Mason Dodson (lineman – unanimous), while sophomore Dillon Shelton (kicker) was named to the Second Team and senior Gage Walker (lineman) received Honorable Mention.
Mountain Grove junior Aden Estep was named Back of the Year and Thayer senior Cooper Clark was tabbed Lineman of the Year.
On defense, Houston had six players receive All-SCA honors.
As linemen, senior Brayden Richardson made the First Team and senior Chris Swallow made the Second Team. At linebacker, senior Bryson Jordan made the First Team, while senior John Jordan was named to the Second Team and sophomore Aaron “Tank” McCarthy received Honorable Mention.
At defensive back, junior DJ Riley was named to the Second Team.
Liberty head coach Jansen Acklin was named SCA Coach of the Year.
