It was contained to the bedroom of origin, while the remaining upstairs area received heavy heat and smoke damage, said Robbie Smith of the department.

A second TCMH ambulance was called to the scene if needed by firefighters.

The interior fire was extinguished at about 11:15. The department left the scene at about noon.
