Floodwater overruns Montauk State Park trout hatchery east of Licking
It’s estimated that nearly one million trout were released at Montauk State Park when high water swept through east of Licking.

•The Texas County Food Pantry needs hygiene products for flood victims. It has depleted its women’s shampoo and conditioner supplies. It is located on East Highway 17 in Houston.
•Election workers who drowned in Wright County have been identified by their daughter. Chuck and Cathie Baldwin were driving in the dark early on Election Day to work a shift at their polling place when floodwaters overtopped a creek and swept their vehicle off the road. The Manes couple, married for more than half a century, were later found dead, clinging to a tree and to each other. Services are under the arrangement of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home at Mountain Grove.
