​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Oct. 28 and Nov. 3, the Houston Police Department answered 235 calls for service and initiated 30 traffic stops resulting in six citations and 28 warnings.
- On Oct. 28, officers arrested Scott L. Folsom, 37, of Raymondville, on an active Texas County warrant for second-degree domestic assault. Folsom was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $2,500 cash-only bond.
- On Oct. 28, following a short-term drug investigation, officers executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Thomasville Road with the assistance of the South Central Drug Task Force and Texas County Special Response Team. Drugs were located within the residence and three individuals were arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney for formal charges on the individuals for distribution and possession of controlled substances.
- On Oct. 29, officers responded to U.S. 63, near Holder Drive, for a motor vehicle crash. A vehicle exited a business parking lot and collided with another vehicle as it traveled north on U.S. 63. There were no injuries reported in the collision.Â
- On Oct. 29, officers received a theft report from a Cleveland Road resident. The resident reported the theft of two packages from their front porch. The investigation is ongoing.
- On Oct. 30, the Houston Police Department K-9 Team assisted the South Central Drug Task Force and Missouri State Highway Patrol with a drug investigation.
- On Oct. 30, officers responded to U.S. 63, near Oak Hill Drive, for a noninjury motor vehicle crash. Two northbound vehicles collided when they reached the merging lanes.
- On Oct. 30, two male juveniles were cited for careless and imprudent driving after they were observed racing their vehicles on U.S. 63.
- On Oct. 30, a 39-year-old female was stopped for a traffic violation. The Houston Police Department K-9 Team responded to the scene and obtained probable cause to search the vehicle. Drugs were located within the vehicle and the female was placed under arrest and transported to the Texas County Jail. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney for formal charges.
- On Oct. 31, officers responded to the 1300 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle left the scene following the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
- On Nov. 2, officers cited Samantha A. Wagner, 25, of Houston, for allowing her dog to run at large.
