Public Water Supply District No. 1 gave an update Friday afternoon on its ongoing boil water order after flooding Nov. 5 caused issues with lines.

“The technicians have gotten almost all of the lines cleared out and the hope is that the water samples can be taken next week,” it said in a statement.

“Once we have taken the samples, it will take two days for the Department of Natural Resources to get our test results back to us. You are still under the boil advisory until those results have shown that the samples are clear of any bacteria.”

The advisory affects all customers living on Highway 17 from Highway M junction in Success to Highway AA junction in Bucyrus and Highway 32 from the Success junction to Mason Bridge. This also includes any side roads that are connected to these roadways.
