A Cabool man faces a felony charge resulting from a Texas County Sheriff’s Department investigation of an incident involving a woman in late October.

Keith J. Thomison, 48, of 13104 Sunrise Lane in Cabool, is charged with domestic assault – third degree (a class E felony).

According to a deputy’s probable cause statement, the officer responded Oct. 23 regarding a domestic incident at an unreported address in Cabool.

The deputy made contact with a woman there who said Thomison – her brother – had head-butted her in the head and told her he was going to kill her. The officer reported observing bruising above the woman’s left eye.

The woman told the officer Thomison had shut the power off at the residence and left.

On Oct. 31, the deputy made contact with Thomison at the Texas County Jail. He reportedly denied the head-butting, but said he “couldn’t beat the domestic charge.”

Thomison was charged Dec. 17. Cash-only bond in the case is set at $2,000.
