Tuesday, Dec. 31, is the last day to pay 2024 property taxes without a penalty.

Here is what you need to know:

  • The Texas County collector’s office is on the lower level of the Texas County Administrative Center at 210 N. Grand Ave. in Houston. (Suite 101)
  • The hours are 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • There is a drop box located at the front entrance. Those mailed must be postmarked by Dec. 31.
  • Taxes also can be paid online at www.texascountymissouri.gov. (Credit card transactions include a convenience fee)
