A prescribed burn is out of control in an area around Turley Road off Highway M, authorities said.
About 50 to 60 acres are on fire southwest of Roby.
The Roby Fire Department was called initially and asked for mutual aid from Houston Rural Fire Department. Later, the Missouri Department of Conservation joined the effort.
