An Elk Creek man was arrested late Sunday morning in Douglas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Joshua T. Holdener, 41, is charged with exceeding the posted speed limit by 21 miles per hour, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle displaying lights and siren, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, failure to display valid plates on a motor vehicle, having no proof of insurance and on a Christian County warrant for failure to appear.

He is held in the Douglas County Jail.
