​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Dec. 23 and 29, the Houston Police Department answered 134 calls for service and initiated 31 traffic stops, which resulted in eight citations and 29 warnings.
- On Dec. 26, officers arrested Crystal Stricklan, 46, of Houston, on an active Houston Municipal warrant per charge failure to appear-exceeded posted speed limit. Stricklan was transported to the Texas County Jail on the warrant, which had a $185 cash-only bond.
- On Dec. 27, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Upon further investigation, a suspect was identified and questioned regarding the theft. The stolen items were recovered. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges.
- On Dec. 27, officers cited Samantha C. Flemings, 37, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
- On Dec. 27, officers arrested Adrian M. Lindas, 22, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charges of parental kidnapping and fourth-degree domestic assault. Lindas was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $2,000 cash-only bond.
