​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, the Houston Police Department answered 181 calls for service and initiated 54 traffic stops resulting in 15 citations and 51 warnings.

  • On Nov. 25, officers cited Christopher Swain, 30, of Houston, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
  • On Nov. 25, officers arrested Scott Folsom, 37, of Raymondville, on an active Texas County warrant per charge of second-degree domestic assault. Folsom was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated without bond.
  • On Nov. 25, officers cited Elizabeth A. Morgan, 21, of Clarksburg, for driving while suspended.
  • On Nov. 26, officers responded to the 1200 block of Ozark Street for a domestic dispute. The dispute was only verbal and mutual agreement was met between the two parties.
  • On Nov. 29, officers assisted another agency with an electronic forensics extraction.
  • On Nov. 29, officers cited Jeffrey L. Smidberg, 18, of Dixon, for careless and imprudent driving.
  • On Dec. 1, officers investigated a property damage that occurred in the 100 block of N. Grand Avenue. A suspect was identified, however, the victim declined to pursue charges. The case was closed.
