The Houston High School girls basketball junior varsity team defeated Norwood on Friday (Dec. 20) in Tiger Fieldhouse. 

The JV Lady Tigers led 8-4 after the first quarter of the two quarter game. Freshman guard Isabella Cook did all of the scoring – including two 3-pointers.

In the second quarter, Cook managed to score another 8 points, but the JV Lady Pirates scored 18 to tie the game at 22 at the end of regulation. 

In overtime, Cook and freshman guard Ava Koch each scored a field goal to lead the JV Lady Tigers to a 26-24 victory.
