A Licking woman received moderate injuries Friday in a two-vehicle accident in Phelps County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. C.M. Barclay said a westbound 2017 Jeep Liberty driven by the 26-year-old Licking driver crossed the center line of County Road 8360 just west of U.S. 63 and struck an eastbound 2012 Ford Escape operated by a 73-year-old Rolla woman at about 7:20 a.m.

The Licking woman was taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla; the other driver was to seek private conveyance to a hospital.

Both vehicles were totaled. The Licking driver was not wearing a seat belt; the Rolla driver was.
