A Raymondville man faces charges following an accident Friday night on Highway 137 just north of his hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Jacob Sellars said a southbound 2014 Ford Fiesta operated by Joseph A. Huske, 55, crossed the center of the roadway at about 5:55 p.m. and struck a northbound 2017 Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 68-year-old Licking man who was not identified by the patrol.

Huske, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The other driver also was wearing a seat belt.

He is charged with DWI, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash, Sellars said.

The Fiesta had moderate damage. The Silverado had extensive damage.
